Every step of the S-Cube process is carefully crafted to perfect the marble’s strength, finish, and longevity ensuring each slab carries not just beauty, but enduring performance. The Seven Steps of S-Cube
Here’s a closer look at our flagship marble strengthening process.
1. Procuring the Best Stones
Our quality assurance process begins right at the sourcing stage. On-site procurement experts hand-select marble blocks from the best quarries around the world. They choose only those blocks that meet the highest benchmarks in pattern, color, and durability. From the very first step, we ensure our raw material is aligned with our marble quality standards.
2. Dressing the Raw Stones into Blocks
Once selected, each block is dressed into uniform, symmetrical blocks. This stage is crucial to prevent future cracks and to reduce material wastage. The attention-to-detail enforced at this stage sets the tone for consistency and superior marble quality down the line.
3. Strengthening the Stone from Within
Before the cutting begins, our stone slabs are treated with clear Italian epoxy. The epoxy fills the micro-cracks in the raw blocks, strengthening their internal structure. That way, the vibrational impact in the cutting stage cannot cause any further cracking or widen existing cracks.
This step is a perfect example of how we bring technology and marble quality together—reinforcing natural stone with smart engineering to ensure lasting strength through transport, handling, and installation.
4. Cutting the Blocks to a Uniform Size
Once the blocks are dressed, it’s time to cut them down to size. We use high-tech Gangsaw machines fitted with durable nickel blades for this step. These blades cut the slabs with exceptional accuracy. This ensures minimal variation in thickness from one slab to the next.
5. Filling out Imperfections with an Automatic Resin Line
At the heart of S-Cube is our massive, one-of-a-kind automated resin line—which also happens to be one of the largest in the country. With 140 trays, four ovens, and two robotic arms, this line is designed to handle every slab with care and consistency.
This step plays an important part in smoothening out the surface of the marble and achieving that glossy, luxurious finish. Resin is filled into the tiniest of imperfections on the marble surface, strengthening the slab and creating an even base for polishing.
6. Polishing the Slabs to Perfection
Our polishing line is powered by fully automated Italian machines from Pedrini. With 16 suspended polishing heads and counter-pressure technology, we can polish up to 10,000 sq. ft. of marble a day. Our polishing line also uses automatic defect detection with real time sensors to catch and correct surface flaws as the slabs move through the line.
This stage plays a key role in producing high-quality marble. It enhances the surface, brings out depth in tone and veins, and gives the stone its signature gloss and smoothness.
7. The Final Quality Check
At this final stage, every single slab undergoes strict quality inspections by our in-house experts before leaving the facility. Every inch is evaluated for surface finish, thickness consistency, and internal strength.
